Xan has been with the Institute since June 1999.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the IPSR Web site.
  • Maintain and extend database of Kansas data.

  • Provide research support to IPSR faculty affiliates and staff.
  • Respond to data requests and inquiries from the public.

  • Stay informed on U.S. Census Bureau programs and data releases.
  • Provide GIS assistance to IPSR faculty affiliates and staff.

Xan is currently serving as Chair of the National State Data Center Steering Committee. Xan also serves on the Academic Data Research Services Alliance (ADRSA) and GIS@KU Steering Committees.
