Xan has been with the Institute since June 1999.

B.S., Mathematics, University of Kansas, 2001.



Responsibilities

  • Maintain the IPSR Web site.
  • Maintain and extend database of Kansas data.

  • Provide research support to IPSR faculty affiliates and staff.
  • Respond to data requests and inquiries from the public.

  • Stay informed on U.S. Census Bureau programs and data releases.
  • Provide GIS assistance to IPSR faculty affiliates and staff.

  • Coordinate the Kansas Business & Industry Data Center.
  • Responsible for data compilation and visualization, programming, and production of the Kansas Statistical Abstract.
Xan has served various positions on the National State Data Center Steering Committee. Xan also served on the Academic Data Research Services Alliance (ADRSA) and GIS@KU Steering Committees. Currently active on the GIS Day @ KU planning committee.
