Stacey Swearingen White's research interests include public participation in environmental planning, social conflict over land use, storm water policy and planning. Dr. Swearingen White earned her BA in Philosophy at Emory University in 1989. She continued her studies at the University of Montana, where she earned her MS in Environmental studies in 1993. In 1998, Dr. Swearingen White completed her PhD in Land Resources at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
