The
2006 Community Economic Development Conference will focus on
success stories from rural
Kansas as a means to motivate, inspire, and empower. Keynote speakers
are:
• Chuck Comeau, CEO of DessinFournir, Plainville, who will
open the conference inspiring
participants to think big and create the community they want; and
• Terry Woodbury, CEO of Kansas Communities, LLC, who will
start the second day with a
conversation about tools for re-building community.
Other community leaders from across Kansas will round out the
program by sharing their projects,
experiences, and ideas with attendees. Along with opportunities
for peer-to-peer networking and learning,
this conference will also provide access to resources available
for community economic development
through its Resource Expo.
