Digital Tools Summit in Linguistics

The Digital Tool Summit in Linguistics will be held in association with the summer meeting of the Linguistic Society of America (June 22-25, 2006). Furthermore, it will be held immediately following the final EMELD (Electronic Metastructure for Endangered Languages Data)meeting "Tools and Standards: The State of the Art" (June 21-22, 2006). Since the conclusions from the EMELD meeting will bear directly on the Digital Tools Summit, on the morning of June 22nd the two conferences will meet together: the Digital Tools Summit's opening session will be part of EMELD's concluding session, with DT-Summit participants commenting on EMELD summary conclusions.
